James E. Longo has 30 years experience working on every aspect of the day-to-day operations of the Highway Department — from repairing catch basins to brush and leaf pickup to snow plowing to paving our roads.

Since James Longo has been our Highway Superintendent, he has improved on leaf bag and brush pickup, as well as snow removal.

Superintendent Longo has delivered on his promise that the Highway Department would be responsive to the needs of our residents. He and his department’s employees continually explore new ways to provide our residents with more efficient and effective services.

Superintendent Longo continually urges the Town Council for more funding for drainage projects and road repairs. He also instituted new road specifications and safety measures for our Highway Department employees.

Highway Superintendent James E. Longo has been endorsed by the Republican, Conservative, Independence, and Working Families Parties.
